Both the red and the blue packs can deliver hot or cold therapy, giving you increased versatility in your treatment options. Both packs contain the same non-toxic gel that will retain heat or stay cold for at least an hour.
For hot therapy, simply place a pack in the microwave for 30 seconds at low power or submerge in hot water (up to 80ºC) for at least 10 minutes – ideal if you need heat therapy quickly. To use the packs for cold therapy, simply place in the freezer at least 10 minutes before use, making it a speedy alternative to other ice-packs that may require a longer cool down time.
